If the 750j has a 6 way I will say it blades just as easy as a 700j. The Hydros likely outlast the cat powershift anyway, and those things aren't free to rebuild either.ħ00j will push close to what a 750c will, 750j is about that much again bigger. We've got a 1970's 750 and the hydros lasted until last year. We had a 1150g dozer stop moving and it took the case guy 2 days to finally hook a tractor to it and drag it to the road and on the trailer. We've never had an issue with the newer deeres. Also our local deere ag dealer has a tech that can work on it. ![]() We couldn't get cat to talk to us because we didn't want to roll the whole fleet I didn't want new. Probably because they last too long and don't have a hydro that will make a boat anchor out of the tractor when it takes a crap. parts is one thing I learned with cat they got parts for a lot of old machines I gotta ask what's wrong with cat? when I wanted a dozer I asked the old operator if we wanted to look at a Deere he told me we better stick with cat. But there is enough you need to decide how big of projects you want too take on. There's minimal difference between a 700 and 750. We use our 850cwxlt for moving lots of dirt ,big fencerows, and any major project where we need power. We run a 650j for lite grading, backfilling, and final grade on waterways. To have the push power for big trees bigger is better. For finish grading smaller one is better. If you just wanting to do waterways and terraces and site leveling I'd go 700. If you are wanting to do lots of big fence rows I'd go 750. Posted 15:55 (#3886550 - in reply to #3886426) Subject: RE: deere dozer compairisonĪ 700 or 750 are both great dozers.
